About me

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, working under the supervision of Christian Genest and Johanna Nešlehová. I completed a Joint PhD in mathematics at Université de Sherbrooke and Université de Montpellier under the supervision of Éric Marchand from the Départment de mathématiques de l’Université de Sherbrooke, Gwladys Toulemonde and Jean Peyhardi from the Institut Montpelliérain Alexander Grothendieck (IMAG), and Frédéric Mortier from the Centre de coopération internationale en recherche agronomique pour le développement (Cirad).

My PhD thesis, titled On count data within the framework of extreme values and multivariate modeling, was defended and accepted on July 3, 2024.

Research interests

My research interests lie in extreme value theory and multivariate modeling. Specifically, I focus on analyzing dependency structures and extreme behaviors within discrete and continuous random distributions derived from hierarchical models. I am also interested in graphical representations of these distributions.

More recently, I have been working on extreme copulas generated by aggregation tree models. This approach allows for the construction of new multivariate copulas using only bivariate copulas and the available data.
